Nuevo servicio permite a piratas operar en modo “invisible”

Desarrolladores de código abierto han creado un nuevo servicio que oculta las descargas vía torrents, pulverizando además las direcciones IP de los usuarios y facilitando el acceso a sitios que hayan bloqueado direcciones determinadas.

La permanente contienda entre piratas y cazadores de piratas resulta en una carrera en que ambas partes desarrollan tecnologías y herramientas diversas para facilitar sus respectivos propósitos. Uno de ellos, BitBlinder, permite descargar material ilegal en modo totalmente invisible.

Microsoft a punto de lanzar nuevo Antivirus gratis

Microsoft esta planeando el lanzamiento de su primer software antivirus, el nuevo software se conoce ahora competira directamente con el software de Kaspersky, McAfee, Symantec y otros de costo relativamente bajo . Sólo se centran en la eliminación de programas espía, troyanos y virus, ya que la empresa ya tiene un firewall integrado para Windows.

Linux será el primer Sistema Operativo en soportar USB 3.0

Después de un año y medio de intenso trabajo, Intel hacker Sarah Sharp anunció que Linux será el primer sistema operativo que soporte USB 3.0.

Kernel de Linux “Geekess” Sarah Sharp anunció en su blog del 7 de junio que el primer conductor pionero para dispositivos USB 3.0 están disponibles ahora. El conductor apoya el Extensible Host Controller Interface (xHCI) para el nuevo estándar USB 3.0.
